Saturday, September 24, 2016, Rio Vista airport, Rio Vista, California. Mark your calendars. Call Rio Sands Motel 707-374-6374 or Sandy Beach for camping 707-374-2097. Also reservations can be made online. The northern Califronia Legal Eagle event is growing in popularity. Now is the time to make plans.

Hi all, I am interested in attending this event. I live in Reno Nevada and was curious if other attendees will be staying at the Rio Sands Motel, or if most stay somewhere else. The reason I ask is that the reviews online make this motel sound not so inviting. So I thought that before I make reservations I would see if their would be others staying there.
I am just finishing up a new workshop and intend to get going on a Legal Eagle XL as soon as I am finished.

The Rio Sands is best hotel nearby. the next wave of hotels/motels are in Antioch, Dixon and Vacaville. Not really that far away
I stayed at the Rio Sands last year, it was not the best but by far not the worst hotel i have stayed in.

Thanks Les, is the event pretty much wrapped up by Saturday afternoon? In other words, would you recommend getting a room for Friday night and heading home Saturday night, or would it be worthwhile to book for Fri. and Sat. and plan on heading home Sunday?
While I have decided I want to build an LEXL, based in no small part to your Youtube videos, I have yet to actually see one in person. I hope to remedy that at this event, and also hopefully get an idea if my 6' 3" body will fit in one as designed.
