New to this sight so I thought I would introduce myself.
1. First I would like to give a thanks to the moderators of this sight, Its time consuming job and gives noobs like me a chance to learn more about their interests.
2. I have about 100 hrs of weight shift flying behind me and recently sold my "skycycle". Was looking into building a Sport plane in the future but wife "hinted" that she had no interest in that. Sooo .... back to Ultralight status for cost and simplicity .
3. Plan to retire next year so I will have extra time to devote to a build.
4. I have 18yrs of being a Journeyman machinist (8 of those programing CNC machinery) and 24yrs as a Mechanical engineer. With that being said a project like this does not scare me but will give me new things to learn.
5. Will be at EAA this year as to kick a lot of tires so hopefully I run into some of you guys for some insight. I briefly talked to Bob Wood at a local flyin and car show, Turns out we live in the same area and flew out of the same airport. Not sure if I'm camping yet or not I live about an hour away.
Hope to see ya there.

Brad,
Welcome to the community! This forum is a great place to both learn and teach. It's made up of a bunch of decent people from around the world who share a common interest. Good luck with your build.

Brad, Welcome to the Legal Eagle community.
While at Airventure, stop by my booth #909 in the Ultralight Exhibit area for a visit. We should have a good contingent of Eaglers there.
