Title: Spar Plate in the Double Eagle.
Post by: Cessna4542c on April 29, 2018, 02:24:25 PM
Okay, I am baffled. Page 41A states that you only have to make 4 spar plates. These attach to the outer front and rear spars. Wouldn't you need 8 like what is done on the inside spar plates? I can't seem to figure out how only 4 spar plates will be used in the construction. If it's 8, then I am a go. If it's 4, can someone send me a pic how they fastened. or explain to me how to install them.

Thanks. Larry

Thanks.  The plan is wrong. I looked at Mr. G’s wing pics which answered a lot of questions.
