Found this on C.L. https://youngstown.craigslist.org/avo/d/berlin-center-vintage-lycoming-aircraft/6814841179.html
Interesting thought for a D.E.

I would check on parts availability before writing the check...

This engine was said to be down on power - about 50 hp tops...
-
Flew one for several years on a BL65 Taylorcraft. Nice engines but not 65 hp.
-
they are heavy cast iron blocks too from what i can tell
-
Cylinder barrels are cast iron... Crankcase and heads are duralumin... Cylinder jugs are made into the case half so no pulling a jug, you have to send in the case.
Continental's parts are ubiquitous and you can still buy new cylinders.
They would not be doing you a favor if they gave you an O-145 if you ask me.

Some very good information on the small Continentals (http://www.bowersflybaby.com/tech/fenton.html) from Harry Fenton, and below is an EAA webinar featuring him.
Careful --this information has the potential for making you into a hoarder.
