Title: Cabin Eagle Storage

With the Cabin Eagle. Does the CG allow for any storage behind the seats? The useful load is good at 500 lbs but not sure if any weight can go be behind the pilot.
In Canada the plane would need to be registered as a Basic Ultralight. The Basic Utlralight regs only allows a pilot. No passenger.
My thinking is to make the CE a single seat and use the remaining space for camping and fishing gear on either side of the pilot. That shouldn't give problems to the CG. Just wondering behind the pilot would allow for storage?

Hi All   The plans have a weight and ballance sheet for baggage.    Leonard

The CE plans Weight and Balance example shows 20lb of baggage 26" behind the pilot/passenger.

In Canada,  if you want to bring à passenger, you can build or register the plane as experimental.
If you register as a basic ultralight, you can bring another pilot or if you are an ultralight instructor flying for a registered school, you can bring à student if the flight is done for training purpose
