I would put it on the right.. but I doubt that it matters much.. assuming it is fairly outboard.

yeah, I'm not sure which wing breaks first in a stall and since the 1/2 vw rotates opposite of traditional engines I was thinking the best place would be on right, outboard of strut attach fitting . Actually I was going to attach it to the strut with a light weight fitting .

Yeah, I think attaching it to the strut, maybe outboard or at the jury strut location would be fine. Which wing drops first at the stall is more a matter of rigging, IMHO.
