Title: Full case magneto install
Post by: Suomelainen on January 29, 2021, 05:10:58 PM
Hello all. I’m interested in running a magneto on my full case half vw. I’d be interested in hearing and seeing how you accomplish this. Any direction greatly appreciated.

Thanks Dan. In particular I’d like to know what sort of a rod are folks using to turn the magneto? How is it sealed, supported and connected to the crank? Perhaps using parts from a front wheel drive axle and hub to fabricate something.

If you can't live without the mag, you may want to send your engine to Scott Casler (https://www.hummelengines.com/) and have one stop shopping with guaranteed results.
