Title: Plywood on AFT Spar
Post by: tonyp51qa on June 25, 2023, 04:44:06 PM
The plans for my Legal Eagle page 22 shows a 5 5/8" piece of plywood cut at 45* degrees. This piece is for the mounting of the wing Spar attach fittings. My question is: Does this piece get put on the aft side? The aft side of spar where the 1/8" plywood is already??Or is there two pieces one on each side? The drawing gives the impression that it is glued on the same side as the 1/8" plywood. The front spar is easy to understand. Thanks!!!!

Don't know about LEU but XL has ply doubler on both sides of spars where strut fittings go.
