[EDITED: 15JAN25]
Sorry to dissapoint but the 'Unofficial Guide' has not yet been written. But... I'm hoping you all can write it right here.
Got the idea in my search for exhaust manifold flanges, a need that Chuck gracefully filled - Thanks Chuck. But I was still curious about them. So today while talking to Myers Aviation I was clued into an interesting fact...
Verner Heads: Seems Verner uses heads from a Honda Generator Engine (GX630 according to https://opposite-lock.com/topic/28513/verner-radial-engines-the-art-of-sourcing-existing-things-to-make-new-things).
Cylinders & Pistons: The article above says they use "VW aircooled cylinders and pistons"
Carburator: Seems to be a knock-off of the S&S Performance "Super E" carb. The Tuning-Guide can be found at https://www.sscycle.com/tech-info/carb-quick-guide which is the same in the new Verner 2025 manual.
Ignition CDIs: are from the Czech Republic and are potted, so no getting into them.
Would love to see this list grow with more information as I suppose many of you know all this already. For now, I'm comforted to know that if USPS looses the exhaust manifold parts from Chuck that I can just look to Honda (though I'd probably find them elsewhere). Copy the above and fill in what info you have to progress this "Unofficial Guide".

I knew Honda ndustrial engine, but didn't have a number.
I think the cylinders are their own, but they used to be V dub.
Carb is a Chinese S&S clone of dubious quality. :)
Ignition CDIs are from the Czech Republic and are potted, so no getting into them.
The bigger engines have blown oil filters, and Verner is recommending 20-50, I think. I'm still running Phillips 20/65, but the Aprillia oil filter is on the 3s is *very* robust.
That's all I have at the moment.
