Hi all
I'm wondering what kind of prop clearance to the ground the Verner 3 people are using. Since the Verner needs a larger propeller that would definitely impact clearance. I am planning on a 66 or 67" prop based on what Les listed as his setup.
Also, if you needed to modify something to increase clearance what did you do? Larger wheels? Extended landing gear?
Thanks for any info you can offer.

Yes to all. I extended the landing gear and raised the centerline of the engine by 3 inches. It's all documented in my build thread.

My build is following Chuck's lead. 67" prop (trying out warp drive but will miss the nice look of wood), 20" wheels. To help with raising the engine (not yet mounted) instead of 11.5 Tall by 13.5 Wide station one I made mine 13.5 square. Now that I have a tubing roller if I were to do it again I might very well have made station 1 round.
