After a couple of weeks of Aircraft Spruce sending my steel all over the Mid West, I will finally be able to finish my main landing gear. Somebody else has a package from AS at my house full of 4130 & SS tubes. UPS was supposed to pick it up, oh well. Got my Black Max wheels, brakes etc., hopefully by the end of the wee I can have it on the gear.
Read about an alternative for fairleads. Use PVC pipe with sections of couplings glued each end to retain I tube.
