After a search of all the usual sites, on and off for a couple of months; no one seems to have the square tubing called for, for the fuselage wing attachment. !/2" square tubing seems to only be stocked in .035 and .049 wall thickness. (Not .065).
What sounds like the best way to go? My choices would be 1/2" x 1" rectangular tubing or 5/8 x 5/8" square tubing. Both .065 wall. What do all of you engineers think? Thanks, Rich.

5/8" square should work great because you are welding it to 5/8" tubing. It'll also give you a bit more edge clearance for the bushings.
Build on!

John Bolding maintains the XL materials list - this is what he has posted about the 1/2" x 1/2" .065 wall square 4130 tube: https://groups.yahoo.com/neo/groups/EaglersNests/conversations/messages/30577 (https://groups.yahoo.com/neo/groups/EaglersNests/conversations/messages/30577)
That means that the 1/2"x1/2" .065 4130 tube is replaced by 5/8"x5/8" .065 wall 4130... Aircraft Spruce lists the 5/8" material as PN 03-12600
