Title: dual slide barrel mikuni carbs

I am looking for information on close mounting dual mikuni carbs on 1835 vw engine such as how close to the heads should they be- what size carb to use - what kind of splitter box to use and where these parts can be found any other advice would be a founder of ppreciated
