Title: wing incidence ?
Post by: mike ketteman on October 11, 2014, 06:30:15 AM
Is the 2*measured on the bottom of the wing or the chord of the air foil?  Been told the angle should go by the chord which should make the bottom of wing level with the back bone of the fuse.

Practically speaking...neither.

Build your fuse with the top longeron located per the plans and the wing will have the proper incidence. The 2" slope of the longeron has the incidence built into it.

The fuse is the LE not XL. the fuse is built with top of cabin level, but no wing mounts yet. the wing is being mounted like the xl, 2 bolts per strap,so need to figure mount positions per angle.

Set your LE wing incidence at the root by finding 2 degrees + on the bottom of the root rib...
