Title: lithium-polymer batteries for ignition power
Post by: dave ingalls on March 07, 2015, 06:38:14 PM
Has anybody used a lipo for battery power?  I am not happy with the lead acid batteries I'm using on my LE.  I have used them for RC for a long time.I'm guessing 4 cells (14+ volts) and maybe 4000 mah.                            Dave Ingalls

They have a steep drop in voltage when getting depleted - keep them charged up!... The risk of fire remains higher than lead acid...  Consider the GenniPod air charger and a lead acid bat of say 4 amps...
