Hey I have a question for all you tall pilots. I just test fit my plans built seat into my fuse and I am having headroom issues. I am wondering how much I can lower the seat before I run into problems with routing controls?

I have mine just set so i miss the torque tube by about 1-1/2" when setting in seat. on the rear of the torque tube i use a fairlead in place of the pulley shown on plans so top elevator cable is only about 3/4" or less from top of torque tube.

Just curious, how tall are you? I'm tall too and wondering. I'm 6'1 with 32 inseam.

I am 6'2" with 32" inseam. I also set on a 3" tall confer foam cushion and wear a head set with top about 1" above head. My 6'4" grandson sets in it without the cushion just fine

The other thing you can do is raise the wing attach tube. I asked the forum last year and was told all ok to do just keep the geometry the same.I went up 1 inch and have lots of room. I am 6'3" 34 inseam.

Im 6'5". 36" inseam. I tryed out the fit in someone elses LEXL and some big changes are going to have to be made. My knees were jammed against the panel and my head stuck three inches over the wing attach point. We are going to have to widen the fuse, lower the chair, and increase the height. As long as we dont change the length the CG should remain the same though.
