Dallas/Fort Worth, TX....
Enjoy building or thought about building a Double Eagle or Legal Eagle XL?
Looking for 2 or 3 people to combine resources and talents to build Double Eagles in Tarrant County.
We want to use the Double Eagle to help train EAA Young Eagles, plus help Legal Eagle owners get some transition training.
(Yes, we are aware of the FAA limitations on using experimentals for official training.)
Anyone interested?

Just located a Double Eagle fuselage that was built by an experienced builder in the DFW area that is available.
That would give us a head start, don't you think?

The DE frame was soldered and not welded the way most suggested. The owner's son is cutting it up to make space in the hangar.
Never found a group that was interested.
So, I've moved on to other dreams.
Good luck in your builds and flying.
Thanks
