Been searching the site for info on uploading videos but haven't found it yet.

what format do you use and how big can the file be?  some of your videos look great and must be huge files!

The simple way is to put a Link to the Youtube location of the VID... The little race track icon in the Post toolbar above is the link insertion point...

Steve, gave the short answer...

The long answer is upload your video to youtube, vimeo or just about anywhere videos are hosted.

YouTube allows just about any size video file, even 4k res.

After the video goes live, copy the URL and paste it in a post here.

Most all will show the video in your post, the most notable exception is FaceBook.  FB changes their format so often, it is impossible to keep them showing up, but you can still send the link.

For FB or unsupported video sites, paste the URL in a message here, drag your mouse over it, then hit the "chain link" icon above the post editor.  Drag your mouse over the "http://" in the pop-up box, and paste your URL again.  This keeps you from having "http://" in the URL twice, and thus breaking the "link"...

Thanks guys.  here is crude video of my DE's first passenger flight.  Back when my fuse was bare bones, my sister-in-law was the first to enthusiastically declare that she wanted a ride. Everyone else showed a great deal of apprehension.  the first ride was reserved for her and took place a month or so ago.  the video is crude as it was taken on 2 cell phones.

Rob, same issue as Scott, video is marked as private.  And, I am real interested in seeing how two up works out in the DE.  We have not flown two up yet with DE Stubby, and want to do some testing by slowly adding weight to see how performance changes.

Hmmm.  Let me try again.  This video stuff is new to me.

Okay.  I found where to change the video from private to public and have done so.  give it a try and let me know if it works.

Awesome..!

Great job on the video...  I clicked your link and it was poetry in motion.

I notice your link is a little different than what it is at YouTube so I copied it out of the YT URL and put it below with some changes (both ends) to see if that is why it shows as a link instead of playing embedded in the message...

It still shows as a link, so that makes me wonder if you have it set to block being embedded..?  Should be somewhere around where you had it set to private...

The you tube attributes does allow embedding, but I see that the url is, as you said, different from what I had as the link. So, here goes:

This is the same link that you had.  I have never done this before, so I'm not sure of what I'm doing.

It is indeed.  Really barks without mufflers. Everyone in the area knows when I'm flying.  It has a unique sound.

I really like the sound of a 4 banger with 2 into one pipes on each side.  Sounds like a radial sometimes...
