This might have already been addressed with the double eagle, I assume the design is the same.
But...  Does anyone know the angle between the main landing gear leg and the axle tube. These parts are welded together, meaning they can't be adjusted. Pages 41 and 42 of the CE plans show the details but I dont see enough information to determine the angle these should be attached.

Thanks...Paul

After checking some other questions regarding landing gear, and based on a planned ground clearance to the bottom of the cabin of 25.5", I'm going to set the angle at 45 degrees. This gives me a "track" (center to center of the main wheels) of 78" using the recommended black max wheels with a diameter of 13". I'll have to lengthen the main gear leg just a little (about 1")

What about the canter forward of the landing gear, have the mains built and now wondering how the center upper cross pieces mount to the fixtures in an angle.
Thanks, Roberto

Hi Roberto.

I have just done this in the last few days.  http://www.mykitlog.com/users/display_log.php?user=ontherun&project=2554&category=0&log=232068&row=1

Using the string lines gave me the exact angle for the vee strut forward of station 2 as well as to the axles.

Mine is the LEXL fuselage and not the DE but I imaging the principal is the same.

Hope it helps

Darren
