prop question

I came across a Lycoming 0-145 (65hp) that I plan on mounting.  Now all I have to do is figure out a prop. I was wondering if anyone had some specs for me to start with. Call a couple of wooden prop companies but they want to know diameter, cruse speeds and so forth. Looking for suggestions to start with.

I just checked my old book written by Eric Clutton and as a general reference, he shows a 69 x 44 for the Lyc 0-145 in a J4 cub , a 72 x 48 for a Cont. A-65 in a J3 cub. The Sensenich site has application charts and for the Lyc 0-145 shows 70 x 45 and 70 x 47. This is all a very grey area and apparently if you order identical diameters and pitches from two different suppliers, they might come out different anyway. Blade area comes into it too providing more grey and of course the type of plane, how it's trimmed, how it's loaded, how it's flown will add to the mix.

For your amusement only, here's a real old pic of a prop I carved  ,  (69 x 48) on a picnic table in the back yard back around 1995. It worked pretty well too. Eric Clutton's $15 showed me how to do it.
