Check out Kevin Armstrong from the UK.  He started with a BS 627 years ago on his trike but had a few engine outs. One was due to a high lift cam and multiplying ratio rockers and the cam broke. Another was carb icing. After those incidents he went with a Chinese copy of a Canam 4 wheeler engine made by Gaokin. You could see if your Polaris engine would work with an Ace Aviation redrive. They make them for lots of industrial engines and the Gaokin. Never hurts to ask.
Currently building a "Fire Eagle" (LEXL with Kolb Firestar wings)
Built 23' Kolb Firestar 2, 91' CGS Hawk Arrow, 92' CGS Hawk Classic II and helped with many Bearhawk parts.

THANKS ,,, not a fan of anything chinesium, but will look into the redrive.
the Polaris atv engine i think is perfect: 75hp 73mph power band 2500/5500 and enough Torq to almost flip it out from underneath me doing wheelies from a dead stop. mine is 2010... the new 850s walk all over me 2021 850 xp/2022 850 ho
