Tim Baker's AO-84-Powered LE
« on: May 11, 2018, 07:04:34 AM »
I would like any information on the Legal Eagle built by Tim Baker Jr, which has the AO-84 installed.

   Thanks!

I welded the fuselage. as far as I know he never flew it.  XL length wings with lift struts in L. E. position.   If I tell you anything else I'm just making it up.
JohnB    Oh Yeah    I sold him the engine too    (didn't make that up)

Thank you, for the intel!
Using the XL wing, with the AO-84, was a sound decision.
Why did he not fly it?

Not sure about internal structure of wings except for the length,  don't know if they were built to XL plans or Legal Eagle plans

A shame he hasn't flown it. I would be interested to know how it performed with the AO-84.
The AO-84, while no barn-burner, is a capable enough engine, in the right airframe. Does well,
in a Mini Max, but I'd really like to see what I am flying over! :)
