started the tear down of my full case 1/2 vw engine. i do have to have the block line bored .020 and cut for the great plains prop hub and bearing (which should be in this week hopefully).
I ordered my vw engine plans from Simplex which cam in a nice spiral bound note book. but after reading over it there really wasnt any useful information in it other than vws need to run a wooden prop for better engine dampening. but if i didnt already know how to build a vw engine i guess it would have been worth it. it did have some templates for making the block offs. i will try to get some pics soon.
