H86 build: how we're doing it
« on: May 04, 2019, 04:17:07 PM »
Pics of the small cutter we used to cut the rib "blanks". (The big one we used to cut the ribs to shape was not deep enough to cut these) Simple to make if your wife has a hair dryer and you have a battery charger that will do no more than about 2 amps. We also tried the little 12 volt batteries folks use for an ignition system and it worked well also.

Glueing the leading edge skins on. Saw this jig on the forum somewhere and it works really well. We rolled the raw plywood up in a cardboard shipping tube a couple of months ago and it made forming it to the ribs extremely easy.

I had the same problem when I took pictures with my cell phone. My solution was to save the images to your computer. Open the image with a viewing or editing software. Then rotate the image as needed. Save the corrected image and upload that to this forum.

Are you using a cell phone..?  I am familiar with Android phones and apps.

With Droids I almost always turn the phone to landscape position ( on its side) with the home button to the left.

As far as the order goes,  I attached the baby cucumber pic I just took first, and Bob Lobertini second.

Like Vince says, I transferred the cell phone garden pic to my laptop and attached from there.  The weather man pic was already on my desktop.

Cell phone pics in landscape (home button to the left) always show correctly oriented when I view them on my computer...

Edit:
The last attachment was shot in the portrait orientation (home button down) and uploaded to the forum from my cell phone...

Edit: edit:
I realized I need to send one in taken in landscape orientation while logged in on my mobile device...  So last pic will be the baby cukecumbers again .

Thanks guys! I'll try that. I know folks get tired of holding their computer sideways.
