Crankcase Breather/Oil Separator
« on: June 29, 2019, 12:20:10 PM »
Has anyone tried installing the Crankcase Breather/Oil Separator outlet in one of the cylinder hole covers? Seems like less oil would be thrown against them than the camshaft gear and front crank throw splashes all over the "standard" breather location.

Oldish thread, but that's where I put mine. Still haven't run it but it makes sense to me.

Thanks for your reply. Nice looking engine. Did you weld the intake tubes to the original intake port or does it just look that way in the photo?

They are welded, but with a little metal forming on the tubes I spared myself the drilling, so yes they are on the original intake ports, if that's what you meant.

Thanks for the photos. I like the intake going into the original port.
