Short Seat
« on: October 21, 2021, 02:22:44 PM »
Something might be wrong. I expected my seat to hang a little lower. I've got 30 inches exactly from the upper seat bar to the lower seat bar.

Can someone tell me the distance for a proper seat installation?

Vince

Never mind. A search of the forum found quite a few people who essentially had the same problem. It seems adding 6 - 7 inches will solve the problem. So the only question is... remake the seat or add extensions. Bob S. added some length in 2014. I wonder how his seat is holding up.

The search was going to be my suggestion. You should build your seat to fit your build.  Don't forget elevator control clearance.

I made my verticals 48" long. Don't know how long they will be after putting control stick in.
