Better Half engine mount

Is there a standard Better Half engine mount "kit"?  Our drawing page # 8A for the XL calls for Continental C-65-C75-C85-C90.  I have searched the old web site with no success.  The Continental mounts listed on Aircraft Spruce lists 7 items (P/N 530740).  Do I need all 7 because that is what pops up.  I apologize in advance for my inexperience as I have never built an air craft before.  I am installing a Scott Cassler 45HP full case 1/2 VW onto LE XL #A67.  My fuse is welded complete except for engine mounts.  Do to indecision on what power plant to use.

There are Continental kits that have bushings hard as a rock (you Don't want that bushing)

You should be able to assess if you have a good bushing by seeing if you can close the bolt hole with a thumb press - see photo next

what is used for the full case mount to the fuselage is only the conical rubber bushing mounts, PN 22387 with a plastic or aluminum spacer you make yourself... You will need eight individual bushing mounts..... one inner and one outer for each corner

What size spacer?  ID., OD., length??
What bolt size?

The ID is to fit the OD of the small end of the rubber bushing.... 0.625" +/- Must be tapered 45 degrees on the inside to match the taper of the mount spools.
The OD is to fit the ID of the spool welded in your mount with small clearance..... 1.06" +/-
The OAL is to space the rubber bushings to fit the OAL of the spool you welded in your mount with the 45 degree tapers.... 1.125" +/-
Bolt size is to fit your engine/mount length..... Top two bolts(AN6-10-33) need to be longer to go THROUGH the engine with washers on each side outside the rubber bushings . You will most likely have to change out the two lower studs for bolts (10mm metric) or tap out & put Heli-Coils and use AN bolts...

Thanks, I have the engine spools made.  Am now trying to align the corner .063 X 3 1/4 X 3 1/4 in. 4130 gussets but I only get about 1/4 in. of material from 1 1/8 in steel spool to the edge of the .063 thick gusset is that enough?  Seems that there should be more meat for an engine mount holding 84 pounds of vibrating engine.

I decided to make them 3 1/4 X 3 1/2 give the gussets more edge clearance.
