Speaking of vids, one of mine was selected to be one of the ten ultralight videos  to be presented at OSH. Did anyone see "Amber Waves of Grain" at OSH?

I regret I wasn't able to accept the invitation to present a forum at OSH on producing videos, it would have been some great Eagle exposure.

Putt putts favorite run was one of the chosen ones at the ultralight presentation Monday night.  A lot of good stuff presented.  Had one of mine also.

Three out of ten were Eagle vids...not bad!

so PuttPutt made the big time huh? and in such esteemed company as the likes of Buchanan and Homan. Not bad. I'm surprised that put that fool favorite run vid on; hardly a good example for the troops. but they did say they wanted to show the freedom of u/l flying. where were they shown Les and were there a lotta folks watching? was it a big screen? how big? PuttPutt is asking questions about it...

They were shown in the ultralight forum tent by red barn.  They took all they videos every submitted, total so about 110 then ones with most likes on eaa site they played, had time for about 30 of then.  It was not as widely published as it will be next year.  It was great because the moderator and audience were able to talk and give thoughts and good points, what stood out to get the video selected ETC.   Great learning environment for novices like me.

Joe, I don't understand how they could say such a thing.  Even if the engine failed you would have had a safe splash down.  You can tread water?  That vid remineds me of the T T Canals in the Mekong on a PBR.  John L.

So this was the "UL Video Production" forum or something like that? Wish I could find a podcast or something of that forum.

I was told ten of the videos would be selected to be shown as trailers for Theater in the Woods main programs. Just wondering.

Did not hear about 10 of them being selected for the Theater in the Woods, there were some very good videos, i don't thing an eagle video would have made the top ten. No recording of event that i could see.

Maybe there were some change of plans. EAA was in contact with me when the UL showcase was started on Youtube and that is where I got my info.
