Passing of Wayne Ison

Learned via Aero News this morning of the passing of Wayne Ison, father of the MiniMax. He was by all accounts an honorable and highly respected man.

Why is this of interest to Eagle builders? As Leonard has often stated, the Eagle wing is an adaptation of the MiniMax wing, a lineage easily recognized by those of us who have built both a MiniMax and Eagle. So the Eagle connection to Ison is strong, and we recognize his influence on our planes.

Wayne's influence on light aircraft will be felt for a long time, we were fortunate to have him in our corner of aviation.
