Rudder hinges
« on: December 31, 2015, 09:57:02 AM »
I have a question concerning the rudder hinges, specifically the bottom rudder hinge.  Leonard  shows that the bottom hinge bushing should have a 1/4" hole instead of 3/16" like the rest.  Now when one bores the bushing out to 1/4" that doesn't leave much left over, only about 1/32" wall, which seems to me to be quite thin.  Is that the way it is suppose to be or am I missing something?  Thanks.       Paul

Les, thank you for your reply.  I will go with 3/16" clevis all around.  BTW, love your videos...........great inspiration.
