Thank you to everyone who replied to my question.  I didn't mean to hijack JohnS's original post, but  I think replies to my question added to the conversation.  I have it figured out now, although I probably didn't word it right originally.  I was concerned that if you used an unmodified 2220 you could have the ignition firing at TDC when starting and at 15 degrees BTDC when running.  Or, some people set it advanced 13 degrees to get 13 degrees BTDC starting and 28 degrees BTDC running.  If I set it that way, I would probably end up with broken finger bones, so I will either go with weasel's mod or use the -009.  I am collecting engine parts, but haven't reached the decision point yet for the ignition (although I do have a 2220).
