About sharing the files...I may share them sometime, but I would have to put some serious caveats and disclamiers on them as most others do who share this sort of thing.
These are my interpretation of the plans, especially the wing rib. I studied leonard's printed plans very thoroughly, as well as other profiles shared on this site. I studied and plotted the Clark YM-15. I plotted all of these out, overlaid them, compared and modified with the focus on what I could ascertain Leonard was trying to show.
Concerning Leonard's plans, I had to deal with the copy/print scale discrepancies, both vertical and horizontal. I believe I have come up with the best CAD rendition of what Leonard was trying to convey, but since we are dealing with things that fly and can also fall, I can give no guarantee as to the accuracy and usability of my work for anyone else but myself.
The frame was much easier. Working with his measurements, I was able to get it pretty spot on. I still have to go over the actual tube lengths to make sure they can be cut and beveled to fit in good weldment joints.
I may share the stuff for study purposes only, but I'm not sure yet.
The nice thing about the airframe is when I am confident of the tubing length and locations, I can produce a cut list for the tubes as done in industrial weldment design.
