Brace Wire Tubes

What material do we use for the brace wire tubes on the stabs?  4130 or Aluminum?  And I remember reading JB Welding them in place.  Is this the accepted method?

Leonard has evolved the bushings for the brace wire bolts to alum tube that is slightly larger ID than the bolt size with the gusset punched in from both sides to hold the bushing in place...

Ugh, jumped the gun and ordered 3/16ID x .035 4130.  I figured the JBweld would reduce possible galvanic corrosion between the aluminum and the 4130 and being the bolt is steel and the tabs steel, using a steel tube seemed appropriate.  More weight though.

Bob S. had suggested the JB weld, but i ended up just using the aluminum tube and placed it position, pressed down slightly on the gusset to make an mark of the tubes position then used a center punch and pinned it into place, it punched the gusset and formed it inside the tube and worked just fine.
