Low oil temps

Still trying to solve the low oil temp issue. I made a 2" deep pan to cover the oil sump. I also was going to make the oil cooler bypass loop smaller on my motor. Right now the loop is about 4" across, thinking of making it as small as possible maybe 2". Anyone been down this road ?  I cannot get 100 degrees and took my gauge out.  I would like to see 140 or 160 if possible.

If you mean that in the pics below, this was my way to do it.
i used the existing holes on the edge of the engine and taper a new one for the third screw.
To seal i use the original cylindric rubber o rings from the oil cooler.

4 years ago in the winter time i build a cnc router. Not a kit but designed by myself.
i machined it out by myself
if someone want one i can make it and ship. (but remember, im from Europe).
At the moment i try to make a better (simpler) one because on the actual model after doing all milling work on the Z axis,
it need to drill a channel from one hole to the other to bridge the holes.  Than it need to close the outside hole with a taper and tap.

the new one in the pics on the cnc router, is almost finished, i need only to mill the slot for the o ring around the oval channel.
And all work is made on the Z axis, nothing to rotate by hand and side drill like the first one.
The sealing effect is produced from the pressure of the o ring at the milled flat side of the case instead of the rubber cylindrical seals in the oil holes there.
This one can be a lot thinner than the first one because the channel can be wider and flatter.
And there is no more need of the two original rubber seals. It is possible to optimize it for weight, cutting out material between the 2 outside screw holes and the same left and right of the center screw hole.
