Flambeau Poly tanks
« on: December 27, 2018, 01:24:12 PM »
This website below has several 4/5 gallon tanks by Flambeau.  If you click on them they offer dimension drawings most are about $60 and 3.5-4lbs.  Does it look feasible to use any of these as cowl tanks?  Perhaps the low profile version could rest under the seat if you are comfortable with FUEL pumps vs Gravity.

The Identical form factor tanks are available elsewhere on the site if you are not entertaining the CARB standards/ requirements... for about 1/3rd less.

For those of us that don't have LE XL plans (mine are for the CE), maybe you could post a camera pic of that page of the plans or sketch or describe the fuel tank installation so we can understand exactly what you are looking for?
