if you are using adel clamps on the pushrod you can remove the stop. also remove the top of the control horn

Hi guys.
Just a word of warning. It appears the elevator horn has been built the way I did mine. Drilling the lightening holes weakened the area that is closest to the weld sufficiently that mine cracked with only a little flexing. I went back and welded another .035" horn on top as a fix. I would recommend NOT building the elevator control horn the way I originally did mine. An inflight failure of this item would have dire results.

long passed the question time frame, but a 1/4" flange on the rudder horn has immense strength and flex stopping attributes.

Here's one with a flange, a large welding area, and control cable/rod holes aligned with the hinge line.
