The rear spar, according to the plans, does not need to be tall enough to require an upper surface bevel like the front spar. There will be a tiny triangular shaped gap between the upper rear spar cap and the upper rib capstrips. This was probably done to save weight.
The ribs are glued to the spar and don't *need* to fit the opening. No need to over think this..
