XL-64 Progress

The wing is progressing.  Today I want to glue in the block for the jury strut. The plan calls for the block to be located 40 1/2" from rib #1.  I measured from the inboard edge of the rib, which is the wing root. If you measure from the outboard edge, this puts the block 1 1/2" further outboard. I guess it doesn't matter except that they should be the same on both wings. You can also see that the block is near the lightening hole in the spar web. I'll "patch" the hole to give the block added reinforcement.
