DE Spar Webbing
« on: October 02, 2015, 07:34:27 PM »
Well, the ribs are done and in the back bedroom.    Work table set up and waiting for plastic to make a larger base for the router for scarfing the sparcaps.

Question re spar webs:  On the DE plans I see the note for the inb'd spar caps webbing as being 96".   Don't mean to sound ignorant but does that (1) preclude using 48"  lengths of the 1/8" ply to achieve the referenced 96" or does that mean a single 96" length of plywood?    (2) Am wondering if cutting those lengths so that a 48" section (centered at the spar cap splice) over the length of the spar would be okay.  Thanks, guys.
