How long to get the plans?
« on: November 23, 2015, 08:59:47 AM »
Hi, I sent a check for the plans two weeks ago as well as an email to give Leonard a heads up that the check is on the way.  I left a message this morning.  Still haven't seen or heard anything.

How long does it typically take to receive the plans?  Standard LE plans.  I'm not in a huge rush.  I just have some free time coming up with the holidays and wanted to use the time off to get started.

Some banks require ten days to clear checks plus mailing time..... My two cents.

I imagine Leonard is catching up from being in Wisconsin,  remember he was inducted into the Ultralight Hall of Fame at the EAA.

I spoke to Leonard today.  Plans are in the mail.  Unfortunately, having a few more weeks to research the LE on the net I decided I liked the taller smaller wheel landing gear on the XL.  Not having the plans yet, I'm wondering if that is covered as an option.  Has anyone gone with smaller diameter wheels on the LE?  I assume the gear would have to be lengthened a bit?

I'd, see if I could make a black friday deal with Leonard on both sets of plans...
