Wing Rib at Aileron hinge
« on: September 08, 2016, 07:04:38 PM »
I am just building my wing ribs and have some questions about how the aileron hinge block/brace attachment to the wing rib 6 (drawing page 51).  It appears that the design has a 1/4" ply brace to which the hinge block attaches running from the rear spar all the way to the trailing edge.  Is that how the people have built their wings?  Does someone have a photo showing this area?

Thanks Darren.  I like what you did with the 1/4" ply reinforcements.  I need to look into the KitLog for my project.  I'm already capturing lots of photos.
