aileron control horn
« on: April 05, 2017, 06:21:35 AM »
How far down is the control horn on the bottom of the aileron? No dimensions in plans just shows mounting holes. I am thinking around 3 3/4 in.

On page 49 of my Legal Eagle XL plans and page 55 of my Double Eagle Plan, it shows the aileron control horn to be 6" long. Two close holes are 2" apart that bolts to the end aileron rib. The shown measurement is three inches between the bottom of the two top holes to the pushrod bottom hole. Hope this makes sense.

One correction, the Double Eagle Aileron Horn is 2 7/8" center to center between the bottom hole of the two top holes and the bottom pushrod hole. Not 3" like the Legal Eagle XL

I need to know how far the horn sticks down below the aileron? Thanks for the help.
