LE XL in Minnesota
« on: September 03, 2018, 08:21:30 AM »
I live in Southern MN and I'm contemplating an XL build. I have the plans and researching all I can about these ultralights. I was building a MiniMax  but it started getting way over the weight.  I a Better Half VW engine built with oversized pistons giving me about 33 hp I'm told.  I'd like to see a LE sometime, up close. There are parts I can't make out in pictures that I wonder about how they come together. Anyone in MN built a LE ?

Hi, Ron.
I'm slowing building an XL.  Ribs are done and I have started some parts.  It's definitely a long term project as I'm dealing with some health issues. You are welcome to visit me in Elk River, north of Minneapolis. Email is the best bet to contact me.
