i looked at it at OSH last year. i wasn't as impressed as i expected to be.
i didn't like using a heat gun to shrink it, yall know that's a no no with Poly Fiber cause the shrinkage may not be uniform and the likelihood of overtemping it. any way, with the iron set at 350(or 250 or whatever you're using) we know its shrunk uniform. but that may not really matter with the oratec i don't know. but it does look more technique sensitive than the Poly Fiber to me. the other thing i wonder about is if it really is lighter than the old original Eagle cover job of Poly Fiber with minimum coatings...one Poly Brush and one or two cross coats of silver on top and one on bottom and no tapes. and of course the cost. and it's not Old School and it shows it. to me the look just isn't right for our Eagles which are classic old school construction thruout.
on this new thing I'm using Poly Fiber. can't go wrong...
