I ordered a set of Leonards XL plans this past winter and I bought an engine to start on last summer, I haven't done a thing with either, I thought I better learn how to fly first, so I have been taking flying lessons since the beginning of March. I have been flying a C150 up until now. I had to fly to Atlanta early this week for work and I missed my regular scheduled flying day, so I was off today(July 5), so my instructor asked if I would like to fly her Citabria on floats, I didn't turn that down. I did three takeoffs and landings on 3 separate lakes, dodging all of the holiday boaters. While I was flying, I could feel the differences between the 150 and the Citabria, the Cessna is a basic plane, it gets the job done, the Citabria is I guess, like a dream hotrod, very nimble, and a blast to fly. While I was flying around, we were low, we didn't have much of a ceiling, so I was getting some low flying time and I had the stick in the right hand and the throttle in the left and I'm thinking that this must be what the Eagle would feel like, a lot lighter, but similar.
