Landing Gear Height - Station 2
« on: December 16, 2019, 05:37:54 PM »
Page 13 of the LE drawings shows station 2 at 21.5" of the ground.
Page 22 of the LEXL drawings shows station 2 at 17.5" above the axle.

Can anyone share how high off the ground station 2 is on finished gear [for either LE or LEXL]? I want to build a fixture to start welding up the mains and I'd like to get it right the first time. I already have the 20" Tuff Wheels.

Here's some reading on it...  https://www.eaglersnest.com/forum/index.php?topic=228.msg1116#msg1116

I think there was more on it, but could not find it readily.  You have to keep thinking of search terms, until you get the hits you are looking for.

I think I know what I need. It looks like certain dimensions change depending on wheel configuration. Either way, that puts station#2 about 21-22" off the ground. I think maybe I was expecting something different.

I'm good. Carry on. Break it up... nothing to see here.
