Great Plains Aircraft Supply Company is still a Going Concern. 

I just talked with Art; they lost their Domain Name Service due to incompetence on the part of their service provider.  For now, he says the best way to order is ID the parts using the old E-commerce site, http://a6141.americommerce.com/ and then CALL (402) 493-6507.

im a web dev for 23 plus years - you don't just lose a domain name - that just does not happen 
the day it expired they would of know and they would of been able to reregister it 
Sounds like someone got hacked and details were changed 
The only times I have seen this happen when email accounts or computers have been compromised
