I think it is done or at least flyable
« on: October 16, 2022, 05:40:02 PM »
So I haven't posted a lot on here, but I will admit I read a lot of what has been posted.  I have spent the last 2 years finishing my plane after buying a partially built DE off of this forum and I am happy to say I just need to add my data plate and get it inspected.  I guess I could etch my own plate, but I ordered a nice one instead, guess I should have ordered it a month ago.

Pics of my finished plane.

Looks very nice!
A few questions:
What is the engine displacement? And where did the CG end up?

I did 2 hours of High Speed Taxi work Saturday and plan more this week.  Tail came up at 31 mph and it wanted to fly between 36 and 38 mph.  When doing this if you are not the best with Tailwheel, let me say don't look at your instruments keep looking out the front of the plane, it can and probably will ground loop.  That was fun by the way.  But at least I know my speeds for my manual.

Joe,
When you hit the insert a link button there is already an http:// in the box where you put your link URL.  You need to back that out if you copy and paste your full URL with its http://...  Your link should look like this https://photos.app.goo.gl/KNM4pzVBm5hJm9hL9

BTW,  a fine looking specimen of an DE you put into the world there...
