Cabin eagle fuselage length?
« on: October 22, 2022, 08:16:17 AM »
Can anyone tell me the length of the Cabin Eagle fuselage from firewall to rudder post?  I am figuring out the space required for a build but I have moved recently and my CE plans have not yet caught up with me.

174.5 inches.
Don in Okla.  DE Plans B-40 (small), CE plans CE-02 (all weather),  Tailwind project #746 (medium),  C182A (large)
One size does NOT fit all!

Thanks, that’s very helpful.  The workshop I am planning is only about 9’ x 19’ so it sounds like the CE fuselage would fit even with the tail surfaces in place but without the engine.  Can I bother you for the number from firewall to the end of the rudder?

The rudder is 16" wide, plus another ½ to 1" for the hinges. It should fit nicely!

Thanks, and I agree, it's an interesting option.
