Got all the nose ribs done. Picking up my Spruce from a lumber yard tomorrow.
Will also be getting the engine tomorrow.

The spars go a lot faster - the left & right of it bears measuring twice - cutting & gluing once the result...

Got it from Clark's Hardwoods in Houston. They have a limited supply and are considering discontinuing the Spruce. Apparently the only people who buy it are plane builders. I bought enough for two sets of wings ;-)

Yeah, Christmas is Great!
It's amazing how easy it is to buy stuff when you're way out in the country. Even easier when you're down with a cold.
I'll make it to Oshkosh, but probably not the Eagle. I hope to fly the Eagle to Reklaw thou. We'll see.

Any chance we could get your weights on front and rear spars only, just like you showed? I even would be interested to know how close they are from side to side?
